GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College's Earl Rahming was honored with the NCCAA Men's Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week award from the national office.
Rahming, a freshman sprinter from Nassau, Bahamas, finished second in the 400-meter dash at the Catamount Classic Saturday with a time of 48.08 seconds in the one-lap event. His time was just off the 48-second mark needed for a NCAA Division II qualifying mark as he finished second in the event. Later on he ran the 200 in 22.46 to win his heat.
King will return to action April 15-16 at the Johnson City Invitational at Science Hill High School's Sidney Smallwood Track.
