King falls to UNC Asheville in final exhibition

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The King University men's tennis team played their final exhibition match of the spring at NCAA Division I foe UNC Asheville. The Bulldogs grabbed the lead in doubles play, and took the match 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • UNC Asheville took 6-2 decisions at both No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, earning the doubles point.
  • Alejandro Feliciano took Majed Yousif to a third set, taking the first set 7-5. Yousif took the second set 6-1 before taking the final set 1-0.
  • At No. 6 singles, Arturo Alfaro fell to Edward Colclough 6-2, 7-6.
  • The Bulldogs took all of the other singles matches to take the dual 7-0.
