Tornado fall to Wofford in Exhibition

SPARTANBURG, S.C.– The King University men's tennis team had their second exhibition of the spring season against Wofford College on Sunday afternoon. The Tornado had some close games, but fell 7-0 to the Terriers.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Terriers won all three double matches, taking the second and third flight 6-1, and the top flight 6-2.
  • For the Tornado, Lenny Keswani fell to Haris Poric 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Lennard Neumann dropped a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) decision to Parks Schoen at the third flight.
  • At the No. 4 singles, Alejandro Feliciano fell to Jack Thomas 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.

UP NEXT

  • King is in action again on February 16 when they travel to take on Erskine College. The match is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm
  • Wofford next takes on Kennesaw State on Saturday.
