Tornado Tennis Heads to ETSU for Fall Tournament

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King College Tennis kicks off their fall season with a trip within the Tri-Cities for a six-team tournament at East Tennessee State University. The Tornado will travel to Johnson City to participate in the ETSU Fall Tournament along with five area colleges.

First-year head coach Kethan Darbar leads both the men's and women's teams into singles and doubles competition this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9-10. The tournament will be held at the Buddy Hartsell Tennis Center.

Joining King at the competition will be host ETSU, Carson Newman, Emmanuel College, Milligan College, Lincoln Memorial University and Tusculum College. Last season, King men and women went to the NCCAA National Tournament to compete. The Tornado begin their first season in Division II and Conference Carolina competition this year.
