Tornado set six school records at ASC Championships
CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The King University men’s swimming and diving team finished tenth at the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championship on Friday and Saturday, but the Tornado set six new school records and saw a number of swimmers achieve personal best times. King finished 10th of 12 teams with 128.5 points.

Start of swimming & diving championships pushed back
CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – With all the snow that has fallen, the start Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships have been postponed. The championships were supposed to start on Thursday, but the teams will kickoff competition this afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

Tornado split with Union and Bethel
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – In their first meet of the semester, the King University men’s swimming and diving team set three personal records on Sunday when they faced Union College and Bethel University. The Tornado fell to Union 148-48, but topped Bethel 118-34.

Tornado top Warren Wilson 114-65
BRISTOL, Va. – The King University men’s swimming & diving team honored their seniors at their final home meet of the season on Friday night. The Taylor Horton and Alek Nochowicz were honored as King defeated Warren Wilson College 114-65.

Tornado fall to Pfeiffer and Milligan
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. – The King University men’s swimming and diving team was defeated twice on Friday night, losing to Pfeiffer University 95-23 and falling to hosts Milligan College 71-50.

Men's swimming and diving takes sixth at Sewanee Invitational
SEWANEE, Tenn. – The King University men’s swimming and diving team finished sixth out of eight teams at the Sewanee Invitational, scoring 283 points and finishing ahead of Warren Wilson College and Campbellsville University.

Tornado set six PRs, fall to Lions 97-93
FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The King University men’s swimming & diving team traveled to take on Emmanuel College on Saturday afternoon. The Tornado took a narrow 97-93 defeat to the Lions, but set six new personal records in the process.

King takes 98-98 tie at Milligan
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. – The King University men’s swimming & diving team traveled the short distanced down the road to take on local rival Milligan College on Thursday night. The Tornado turned in a solid performance, coming away with a 98-98 tie with the Buffaloes.

Tornado compete at Conference Carolinas meet
GAFFNEY, S.C. – The King University men's swimming & diving team faced the other Conference Carolinas member schools on Friday at the Conference Carolinas meet hosted by Limestone College. The Tornado finished third in the three-team meet with five points.

King takes two individual wins at season opening meet
GAINSVILLE, Ga. – The King University men’s swimming team opened their 2013-14 season at Brenau University where they faced Thomas College and Milligan College. The Tornado fell to Thoms 60-29, and to Milligan 56-39.

Veteran King squad carries high expectations into season
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Last season didn’t end the way the King University swimming & diving team wanted it to, as they came home with a ninth place finish at the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships. However, the Tornado have set some loft goals, that they expect to achieve with a core of experienced swimmers, and a solid group of newcomers for the 2013-14 season.
