DAYTON, Tenn. - King College lost a 1-0 decision in men's soccer play at nationally ranked Bryan (Tenn.) College.
King went to 2-8-1 in the team's seventh one-goal contest of 2010 and fifth 1-0 contest. Bryan, the No. 18 team in the latest NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Poll, has a 9-1-2 record.
The lone goal of the contest was booted home by Tom Hemmings with an assist from Jordan Devlin at the 22:57 mark.
Richard Masters (Kent, England) stopped eight Bryan shots.
King will play Concord (W.Va.) University Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Parks Field.
