King places 10th at Matt Dyas Invite

CARROLLTON, Ga. – The King University men's golf team wrapped up their second day at the Matt Dyas Invitational with a round of 301 on Tuesday afternoon.  The Tornado finished in tenth place and were led by Alex Summers who finished 25th in the tournament.

LOCATION: Oak Mountain Championship Golf Course; Carrollton, Ga.
COURSE DETAILS: par 72, 7026 yards

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Summers led the Tornado again on day two as he recorded a 75 and an overall score of 148. He finished in 25th place overall.
  • Matt Dalrymple and Alex Bradford both shot a score of 75 on day two as well. Both finished with a score of 149.
  • Arthitayapong Sripatrprasite wasn't far behind as he recorded a 76 Tuesday afternoon and an overall score of 150.
  • Rounding out the squad was Robert Wilkinson with a round of 81 and an overall score of 156.

FOR THE FOES

  • Clayton State won the tournament with an overall score of 582.
  • Individually, Samuel Jones of West Georgia won the tournament with a score of 139.

UP NEXT

  • The Matt Dyas Invitational concludes the fall season for the men's golf team. They will be back in action on February 12th at the Kickoff Classic in Jacksonville, Florida.
