March, Koguchi lead Tornado at Etowah Intercollegiate

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – The King University men's golf team shot a score of 301, to give a total two day score of 601, landing fourth place overall.  Kelsey March and Waturu Koguchi had the highest finishes for King placing a tie for ninth each.

HOW IT HAPPENED

FOR THE FOES

  • Tusculum College finished first overall with a score of 285.
  • Brevard College came in at second, posting a 293.
  • Coming in third was Mars Hill University posting a score of 590.
  • King finished fourth overall with a score of 601.
  • Individually, Taylor Smith of Tusculum College finished first with a score of 140.
  • Adam Lumley of Mars Hill University and Cameron Dugger finished second with a score of 142.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Koguchi posted his first top ten finish in his career.

  • King will be in action again on September 26-27 at the King University Invitational hosted by the Country Club of Bristol in Bristol, Tenn.
