BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the first time in his career, King University men's golfer, Leennawat Numpituckchaikul has earned postseason recognition from Conference Carolinas. The sophomore has been nothing short of consistent this season, garnering third team all-conference honors.
A native of Bangkok, Thailand, Numpituckchaikul has been near the top 10 in half of the tournaments this season, and he cracked the top 10 on two occasions. In the season's first tournament, he took ninth at the Smokey Mountain Intercollegiate with a two-round score of 146. He turned in his best finish of the season, seventh at the Richard Randleman Invitational, shooting 147 with a second round score of even-par 71. Numpituckchaikul has posted his low round of the season, 70 three times, the latest coming in the second round of the Conference Carolinas Championships on Monday.
The Conference Carolinas Championships conclude with the final round on Tuesday at Bryan Park Champions Course in Browns Summit, N.C.
