BRISTOL, Tenn. – Finishing with a two-day score of +3 (72-73-185) senior men's golfer Adrian Kibsey made the cut and has advanced to the third round of the Canadian Men's Amateur National Championship.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native finished in a ten-way tie for 49th place through the first two rounds of the amateur championship. He is one of 72 competitors to make the cut and advance to the third round of the tournament.
In his first round played at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club (Winnipeg, Manitoba), he finished par or better in eight of his first ten holes, including three birdies. Through the front nine, he shot one-under par before bogeying twice to finish the first round at one-over par.
On day two, Kibsey struggled through the front nine at Niakwa Country Club (Winnipeg, Manitoba) where he placed first just four days prior. He battled through three bogeys and one triple-bogey after sinking a birdie on the opening hole but recovered nicely on the back nine with birdies on three of his first five holes. Despite a bogey on the last hole, Kibsey finished 2-back and accumulated a two-day total of 3-over par.
Kibsey will begin round three Saturday morning on the back nine of Niakwa Country Club and fight to make the cut to advance to the championship round. The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday morning at Niakwa Country Club.
