2013: Named to the All-Southeast Region team with a 23rd-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Region Championship... Third team All-Conference Carolinas selection following a 14th-place finish at the conference championship meet... Ran his fastest time of the season on October 11 at the Royal Cross Country Challenge, finishing in 25:52.1 to earn the 15th-fastest time in school history... Helped the team to a second-place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championship... Finished seventh at the Eye Opener Invitational on September 6 with a time of 26:46.14 to help the Tornado finish first among NCAA Division II schools... 2012: Earned first team USTFCCCA All-Southeast Region honors... Named Conference Carolinas Runner of the Year... Garnered first team all-conference honors... Led the Tornado to their first NCAA Division II National Championship appearance in school history, where King placed 27th... Won back-to-back meets in October, the Pre-Conference Meet with a 5k time of 16:10.13 and followed that with a Conference Carolinas championship with an 8k time of 25:39.78... Placed third at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship with a 10k time of 31:36.3... Ran 31:37.5 at the NCAA Division II Championships.
