LeVeau earns first Conference Carolinas Player of the Week award

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Following his stellar week, King University's Hunter LeVeau has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week. LeVeau shot 60.0 percent from the floor and match his career-high with 27 points in King's 115-95 win over the University of Mount Olive to keep the Tornado atop the conference standings.

The freshman led King in scoring last week with his 20.5 points per game average. He also averaged 5.5 rebounds per game. In King's 115-95 win over the University of Mount Olive, LeVeau matched his career-high with 27 points on 9-for-11 shooting from the floor, going 7-for-9 from three-point range. Earlier in the week, He tallied 14 points in King's 86-49 win over Erskine College. For the week, LeVeau shot 60.0 percent (15-for-25) from the field and 50.0 percent (9-for-18) from three-point range. He also made both of his free throw attempts.

The Tornado currently lead Conference Carolinas with 10-2 league record while Barton College is in second at 9-3. King is 13-9 overall this year and hosts Limestone College on Saturday night in the Student Center Complex. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
