Free Admission to King/Salem Int'l for Arby's Classic Attendees

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Even after the Christmas Day the holiday spirit remains alive as King College closes out 2011. With the Arby's Classic high school basketball tournament taking place in its own back yard, Tornado Athletics is extending those in attendance of the event free admission to the Dec. 30 Men's Basketball game against Salem International at the Student Center Complex.
 

Free admission will be given to those who can provide a ticket stub from the Dec. 30 Arby's Classic games upon entrance at the King/Salem International men's basketball game. All teams participating in The Classic will also be admitted free of charge.

The final contest of the Arby's Classic afternoon session will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Viking Hall at Tennessee High School (Bristol, Tenn.). Action will resume at 5:30 p.m. when the slam dunk contest commences. The Tornado will tipoff against the Tigers (1-9) at 3:00 p.m. in the final athletic contest of 2011.

The Tornado ride on an 8-3 overall record after taking the No. 3 Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters to the wire in a 77-75 loss on Dec. 17. Their matchup against the Tigers will be the Tornado's last non-conference game of the year before entering the heart of their schedule on the road at North Greenville on Jan. 3.
