Tornado Basketball duo on NCCAA Scholar-Athlete squad

GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College placed two players on the 2010-11 NCCAA Division I Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team, announced by the national office.

The Tornado was represented by the junior duo of Tyler Crowder (Crossville, Tenn.) and Eddie Piccinini (Orlando, Fla.) on the list of 31 players. King was one of 12 teams with multiple players on the team. Trinity Christian (Ill.) College had four players, the most from any team. In all 16 teams had players make the grade to earn the honor.

King finished the 2010-11 season at 19-15 with a third-place finish at the NCCAA Division I Men's Basketball National Tournament after winning the Mid-East Region Tournament.
