BRISTOL, Tenn. - King College had 14, seven team and seven individual Top-25 stat rankings in the newest NCCAA Division I National Report, released by the national office.
Jason Seymore (Powell, Tenn.) owns the nation's best field goal percentage at 71.4. He ranked second in three-point percentage with a 60.0 mark and was 25th in rebounds with 7.2 per contest.
Michael Fortune (Beckley, W.Va.) was 15th in three-point percentage thanks to his 71.4 mark and 21st in free throw percentage at 84.6.
Mark Dockery (Nickelsville, Va.) led the team in the scoring category as his 18.0 average was 17th in the national rankings.
Clarence Smith (Nashville, Tenn.) and his 54.6 field goal percentage ranked 25th.
The Tornado team owned the third best three-point field goal percentage with a 40.9 mark. The team was fifth in assists per game with 17.1 King used a 48.3 field goal percentage to come in sixth.
King and a scoring average of 80.1 were good for 13th best. With a 68.7 free throw percentage, King ranked 19th. So far this season King has a scoring margin of 3.7 which put the team 20th and the 8.3 steals per game was the 23rd best average.
The Tornado, with a 6-8 record, returns to action on Jan. 2 at Nova Southeastern (Fla.) University.
