GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College was No. 9 for a second straight NCCAA Men's Basketball Division I Burbridge Rating, the national office announced.
King's Burbridge climbed to 7.00, up from the 6.86 in the last report on Dec. 22.
Dallas Baptist (Texas) University once again had the top spot with an 8.00 rating. Indiana Wesleyan University made the climb from No. 5 to No. 2. Campbellsville (Ky.) University held the No. 3 spot once again. Emmanuel (Ga.) College joined the Top-5 at No. 4 while Oklahoma Wesleyan University fell three spots to No. 5.
Within the Mid-East region, King and Campbellsville were the only two teams in the Top-10. The next team in the region was Mid-Continent (Ky.) University at No. 19. Victory (Tenn.) University and Bluefield (Va.) College were No. 20 and No. 21, respectively.
The rating is based on wins and losses, opponents' winning percentage, location of game and opponents' national affiliation.
King, with a 7-9 record, travels to Voorhees (S.C.) College for a 7:30 p.m. contest Wednesday.
