King at No. 10 in NCCAA Burbridge for second straight week

GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College held onto the No. 10 spot in the newest NCCAA Men's Basketball Division I Burbridge Rating, released by the national office.

King's Burbridge went up to 6.896, but the Tornado remained behind Spring Arbor  (Mich.) University's Burbridge of 6.931.

For a third straight week the Top-5 did not change with Indiana Wesleyan University at No. 1 thanks to a Burbridge of 7.893. Dallas Baptist (Texas) University was No. 2 followed by Campbellsville (Ky.) University, Emmanuel (Ga.) College and Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) University from No. 3 to No. 5, respectively.

Within the Mid-East Region, King and Campbellsville led the standing, but Mid-Continent (Ky.) University jumped from No. 25 nationally to No. 15 this week and third in the region. Both Bluefield (Va.) College and Tennessee Temple University moved up a spot with Bluefield at No. 19 with Tennessee Temple No. 21. Victory (Tenn.) University slipped from No. 16 to No. 27.

The rating is based on wins and losses, opponents' winning percentage, location of game and opponents' national affiliation.

King, at 12-12 on the season, will travel to Campbellsville for a 7 p.m. contest Wednesday.
