Moran chosen to lead King dance
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University Director of Athletics, David Hicks announced the hire of 2011 graduate Nora Beth Moran to lead the dance program. With 11 years of cheer and dance experience, and is currently the choreographer for the King Theatre department.
While at King, Moran competed for the dance team for more than two years, and was a captain during her final year. She double majored in Theatre and French while minoring in Psychology, and graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts while earning honors in independent study in theatre in 2011.
After graduation, Moran has worked at the local theatres, Theatre Bristol, Encore Theatrical and King University in many different capacities. She has appeared on stage, and behind, working as a choreographer, actress, scenic designer, technical director and a lighting designer. Along with her duties at King, Moran currently works at Frontier Health as a caregiver.
