Caicedo takes women's A race at University of Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. – King University's cycling team competed at the University of Georgia on Saturday, with Tornado athletes turning in a handful of impressive results.

Freshman Jennifer Caicedo won the women's A race in her first-ever event for the Tornado. Megan Rogers, who until recently had been unable to train due to a long bout with mononucleosis, finished third in her first SECCC cyclocross event.

Freshman Drew Bailey spent most of the men's A race in the lead pack. The final lap included a sprint for the finish, and Bailey finished the race in the fifth position in a very competitive field.

The team will return to competition on November 23 and 24 as it hosts a cyclocross event on campus next weekend.
