BRISTOL, Tenn. – Tryouts to become the King Tornado mascot for 2012-13 will be held on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Complex gymnasium. All students interested to become this year's Twister are encouraged to go through the application process.
Students that try out will be graded on their enthusiasm for King Athletics, ability to stimulate crowds of people, react to gameday situations, and their creativity while dressed in the Twister costume. Those selected will be considered part of the cheer team

Prior to trying out, interested students must complete and submit an application to Head Cheer Coach, Amber King (email@example.com). Students will go through a brief interview process before the tryouts. The application is available for download by clicking the link above. Applications must be submitted on or before Sept. 12.
The student mascot will have several responsibilities. Twister will attend all home men's and women's basketball games. The mascot will also be a part of many other events, including various Tornado men's and women's sporting events and traveling with the cheer team to competitions that include mascots.
