Tornado Baseball to Host December Winter Camps

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King College Baseball will hold its annual winter skills camp Dec. 10 and 11 for those athletes interested in honing in and learning new skills heading into the 2012 season. Camps will be held for those interested in grades 1-12 with Tornado coaches and players on hand to help with skill development.

The youth camp is a two-day adventure designed for grades 1-8. This camp will specialize in the individual skills of hitting, throwing, base running, and defensive breakdown sessions for all positions. All sessions will be held in Kline Gym on the King College campus. All sessions are scheduled to be held indoors though weather permitting campers may be taken outside for an enhanced atmosphere.

There will be two sets of high school sessions offered for players. King baseball will host a one-day hitting designed for grades 7-12, specializing in the individual skills of hitting. There will also be a one-day pitching and catching camp for grades 7-12 specializing on those respective positions. Participants can choose to sign up for one or both high school sessions. All participants will receive a free camp t-shirt in addition to personal instruction.

Information on team and large group rates are available by request. Registration is now open and will be taken until the start of camp. Check in will begin one hour before the start of camp on each day.
