First for the Tornado in Tuesday's opening round will be a 4 p.m. contest against Mid-Continent (Ky.) University. King wrapped the regular season up with a 22-22 record while Mid-Continent went 24-29. The Tornado won last year's region championship to earn a bid to the NCCAA Division I World Series where the team finished in a tie for seventh.
The event starts when top-seed Asbury (Ky.) University takes on Covenant (Ga.) College at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Asbury has a 36-12-2 record while Covenant stands at 24-14. The 1 p.m. contest features Oakland City (Ind.) University, the No. 2 seed, playing last year's national runner-up Bluefield (Va.) College. Oakland City comes into Bristol at 17-13 with Bluefield owning a 26-26 record.
Wednesday's games will feature all six teams. Thursday will have three more games with the bracket to be determined based on the number of teams remaining after Wednesday.
