TUCSON, Ariz. - King College received a vote in the newest Collegiate Baseball Magazine NCAA Division II National Poll released by the organization.
King was among 21 schools to get one vote to share 45th.
Southern Indiana University had the top spot followed by California San Diego and Georgia College. Central Missouri and Mount Olive were ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
The Tornado started the season with a doubleheader split at Francis Marion (S.C.) University Sunday. Francis Marion was No. 15 in the preseason poll and fell to No. 37 in a six-way tie for the position.
The only other NCAA Division II school in the poll was Tusculum at No. 27.
Next on the schedule for King will be a three-game weekend series against Tiffin (Ohio) University Saturday and Sunday.
