King Baseball Navy & Scarlet World Series games announced
BRISTOL, Tenn. - The King College Baseball team will close out its fall team practice with the Navy & Scarlet World Series at King College Field starting on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m., King head coach Mac McClarrinon announced.
"This should be a great culmination to our fall and we look for some great competition in our best of five game series," McClarrinon said.
Game one is slated for Saturday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. Games two through four are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 25, Wednesday, Oct. 27 and Thursday, Oct. 28. All three weekday games are scheduled for 3:45 p.m. starts. The series finale, game five, will be Saturday, Oct. 30 at noon.
Following Saturday's contest, Oct. 30, the Tornado Baseball families are invited to participate in a pot luck barbecue. Each family is asked to bring something to contribute to the feast.

"We hope to get a large number of our families together and enjoy some food as we culminate our fall," McClarrinon said about the post-game feast. "This should be a great day to get to know some of our new families in our program and for them to get to know each other before our 2011 season."
The Blue team will be coached by assistant coaches Jake Cockerham and Nate Paul and while the Red team will be coached by Bryant Baines and George Laoo.
