BRISTOL, Tenn. - King College's weekend baseball series against Salem International (W.Va.) University and Saturday softball doubleheader with Mars Hill (N.C.) College has been changed due to the weather forecast.
The baseball series has been moved to a Sunday and Monday three-game series. Sunday's game will have the same 2 p.m. first pitch with Monday's doubleheader starting at noon.
King has a 9-5 record thanks to a four-game winning streak.
The Lady Tornado will play the Mars Hill doubleheader Wednesday and will start game one at 2 p.m. King will look to even the score after losing 6-5 and 7-4 at Mars Hill on Feb. 19.
Before Wednesday's games King welcomes Tusculum (N.C.) College for a Tuesday doubleheader, the first on-campus games for the program, at 2 p.m.
King owns a 5-9 mark after a sweep of nearby Virginia Intermont College Wednesday.
