2016: CoSIDA Academic All-District...Split time at first base and missed time due to an injury at teh beginning of April...One of six Tornado to drive in at least 20 runs...Hit .325 and had a slugging percentage of .467...Posted 12 multiple hit games and six multiple RBI games...Had a nine-game hitting streak...Went 3-for-6 with a double and home run and four runs batted in on February 17 in a win at Brevard...Drove in three and went 4-for-5 with another home run on March 15 at Lincoln Memorial...Ripped two doubles against North Greenville on March 18...Ripped another home run, going 3-for-5 with two runs batted in adn two runs scored in a win over Lenoir-Rhyne in 12 innings on April 19.

Prior to King: Helped lead his high school football team to an undeafeated season and a state championship as a linebacker...Named first team all-conference and All-Region twice...Recorded the highest batting average and on base percentage in the conference and region...At Danville Community College he was named MVP two years in a row.
