Arnold joined the Tornado staff in January of 2022 as the pitching coach, following a pair of seasons as an assistant coach at Clinton High School.
Year-by-Year Recaps
2022:Â The Tornado finished the regular season with a 16-13 record in Conference Carolinas play, finishing sixth in the league standings. The Tornado won their opening game in the Conference Carolinas Baseball Championship, but dropped their next two to nationally ranked foes, ending their season with a 24-22 record. Drew Moore garnered first team All-Conference Carolinas honors while Robbie Scott earned second team recognition.
Prior to King
At Clinton High School, he served as the pitching coordinator and helped run all of the practices.
Arnold has also served as the head coach at BC Athletics. While in that position, Arnold had his hand in numerous areas, one of the biggest one would be player development. He also honed his decision-making skills as well as communication.
Personal
Arnold was a member of the baseball team at Milligan University for two years before transferring to Pellissippi State Community College. He earned his associate degree from there before earning his Bachelor of Science in History from Liberty in 2021.
