2017: Appeared in 14 games, making eight starts...Ranked third on the team with 45 and one-thirds innings pitched...Earned three wins on the season...Struck out a season-high six in three and one-thirds innings, earning the win against Mansfield on February 19...Tossed six innings and struck out five to earn the win at Barton on March 18...Earned the win against Southern Wesleyan on April 1, striking out five in five and one-thirds innings...Academic All-Conference Carolinas.

2016: Redshirted

Prior to King: He helped lead Jefferson County High School to a conference championship in 2012...Was named to all-conference, all-region, and all-area teams in 2012...In his first year at Cleveland State Community College ae pitched 16 and one-thirds innings with a 2.76 ERA and 23 strikeouts...In two seasons at Cleveland State he tossed 32 and two-thirds innings, going 1-1 with four saves, 45 strikeouts and posted an ERA of 6.34.
