The senior performed excellently at the Beynon Sports Catamount Classic over the weekend, helping the Tornado to a sixth place finish. In the long jump, Okot was the top finisher in any division, taking second with a leap of 6.86 meters. In the triple jump, he won with a mark of 15.30 meters, winning the event by nearly one meter. That mark also broke the school record of 15.16 that has stood since 2007. The 15.30 meter jump marked his outdoor personal record, coming within 0.10 meters of his longest career jump.
