BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has named their student-athletes of the month for the month of February, and Jeff Sprayberry of the men's volleyball team took home honors this month.
In 10 matches last month, Sprayberry averaged 3.71 kills and 1.54 digs per set to lead the Tornado to a 9-1 record. He also posted an attack percentage of .250 and recorded 11 service aces. At the net, the junior posted 17 blocks, including five solo stuffs for an average of 0.63 blocks per set. Sprayberry posted his second double-double of the season when he accounted for 19 kills and 10 digs against the University of Mount Olive.
