HOW IT HAPPENED
Fermani led King with 6 kills and 7 total points, battling through LMU's block and back-row defense. Pliapol followed with 5 kills, giving the Tornado steady production on the right side.
Setter
Joao Pedro Ribeiro directed the offense with
18 assists and tied for the team lead with
5 digs, helping King stay competitive through the first two sets.
Dalton Claiborne added
3 kills and 3 block assists, anchoring King's presence at the net.
Colton Bueter chipped in 3 kills as well.
As a team, King totaled
