Franklin Springs, Ga. The King University Women's Wrestling took on Emmanuel University in a dual match, winning 28-17. King had three wrestlers pin their opponents: Kristian Kent at 103,
Ruby Julien-Newsom at 138, and
Stella Steigler at 160.

King went in having two forfeits tonight, with no 145 or 180 putting them down 10 points before the dual started. That didn't matter at all. The Tornado came out quickly with a pin by Kent in 26 seconds, the fastest of the night.

Amelia Murphy was next up at 110, able to win her bout in the first period with a quick tech fall in 2:23. Emmanuel would bounce back and win at 117 with a tech fall of their own.

Virginia Foard for King was able to sneak another win in for the Tornado, earning herself a tech fall in 2:33, not allowing a single point. Emmanuel would win their final match of the night at 131 in a tough decision loss for
Joy Cantu, 2-4.

The Tornado would win by pin at 138 from Julien-Newsom in 1:03 and another pin by
Stella Steigler at 160 in 39 seconds.
Eliana Bommarito would win at 207 by tech fall in 1:35 to finish the match up for King.
