Tornado finish regular season with win over Newberry

NEWBERRY, SC - King University women's wrestling ends the conference regular season with a win over Newberry College by a score of 24-10. With the win, the Tornado secured the Conference Carolinas championship.

• Samara Chavez got the Tornado started with a first period pin over Kaia Stewart at 117 pounds.
• At 124 pounds Clare Booe picks up a 2:12 tech fall to put the team up 9-0.
• Montana Delawder and Jessica Corredor both secured wins by pin to make the team score 19-0 in favor of the Tornado.
• In the last match of the night Cheyenne Bowman gets an impressive 2 second victory by fall to finish the dual.
