YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The King University women's volleyball team came from behind to win 3-1 at Young Harris College on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- King trailed all of the first set as the comeback attempt at the end of the set didn't pay out.
- The Tornado was down by as many as five points before they scored 5 of the last 7 points of the set before the Mountain Lions won 25-23.
- Princess Emma Oluwa, Bailey Fersner, and Zephanie Snyder each had 3 kills in the opening set.
Second Set
- The second set opened with both teams trading points. Young Harris had a 9-7 lead before multiple attack errors gave King an 11-9 lead.
- King continued their lead allowing Young Harris to score just six more points while they secured the second set victory 25-15.
- Oluwa added four more kills to her afternoon and Chloe Clayton added a service ace to give the Tornado a 21-14 lead. Riley Nelson also had two solo blocks on the front line.
Third Set
- The Tornado found themselves down five early in the third set, but battled back to not only force extra points but also win the set 26-24.
- Led by 4 kills from Fersner, and a total of 5 team blocks the from line of the Tornado helped in the comeback effort.
- Oluwa sealed the victory with a her tenth kill of the match.
Fourth Set
- King led for all of the fourth and final set after they started with a 4-0 lead. The lead expanded as they scored five in a row to make it 10-2.
- A block from Nelson to give the Tornado a 14-4 forced Young Harris to take a timeout.
- King continued their offensive efforts to win 25-12 as Oluwa once again led the effort with 5 more kills.
- Madeline Lavergne, Amaya Hall, and Clayton each recorded a service ace and Nelson (2) and Clayton (1) contributed on the defensive effort with blocks up front.

FOR THE FOES
- Abby Schirm and Shelby Mullins both had 10 kills on the front line.
- Joha Bernis had a match-high 22 digs while Lyza Thigpen had a match-high 32 assists.

King University will conclude their road trip with a game at Lees-McRae in Banner Elk, N.C. on Tuesday evening. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
