BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University baseball team dropped their final two games of the regular season Friday to Emmanuel University.

SERIES HIGHLIGHTS
- Truman Roper had a home run for the Tornado in game two, finishing the day 3-for-9.
- Levi Medford was 2-for-4 in game two, with an RBI.
GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- The Lions scored right away, posting a run in the first to take a 1-0 lead, before adding another in the third.
- After Emmanuel scored two runs in the fifth, the Tornado started to score in the top of the seventh.
- Jacob Eargle drew a leadoff walk, with Derek Martin following with a single to left field.
- After Patrick Corley reached base on a fielder's choice, Huffman grounded into a fielder's choice, with Eargle scoring to get the Tornado on the board.
- King would finish with the bases loaded, but were unable to cut into the lead, falling 4-1.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- The Lions scored three runs in the second, including a two-run home run.
- Conner Hyatt drew a one-out walk in the bottom of the inning, scoring when Medford doubled down the right field line, making it a 3-1 lead.
- Roper hit his home run in the third, a solo shot to pull King to within 3-2.
- Emmanuel scored four runs in the fifth, all of which via home run, before adding another home run in the eighth to take an 8-2 victory.

FOR THE FOES
- Thomas Collins had two home runs and a double in game two, with Brody Campbell and Zachary Bergstrom both adding home runs as well.
- Ethan Pooler threw seven innings in the second game, allowing just two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts.
