BRISTOL, Tenn. –
Mikhail Pocknett scored 19 points and had nine rebounds Saturday afternoon as the King University men's basketball team fell to Young Harris College, 85-76.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half
- The Tornado took their first lead of the game at the 16:14 mark when Pocknett hit a layup after grabbing an offensive rebound, putting King in front 6-5.
- After the Mountain Lions scored the next five points, Pocknett tied the score with a layup, with Seth Cullen following with a three to put King in front 13-10 with 11:30 remaining.
- Young Harris tied the score at 17 with 6:27 left, btu King answered with Josh Jackson hitting two three-point shots, with a Young Harris jumper sandwiched in between to put King in front 23-19.
- After a Jordan Akal three put King in front 29-26, Young Harris scored seven of the final eight points to take a 33-30 lead into halftime.
Second Half
- Young Harris extended their lead to 38-32, but Pocknett hit an old fashioned three-point play to get King back to within 38-35.
- The Tornado continued to cut down the lead, with Pocknett scoring four straight points to brng the Tornado to within 56-53 with 10:04 left to play.
- King closed the gap to 62-61 on an Amarius Beasley jumper with 5:56 left, but the Mountain Lions scored the next five points, stretching their lead to 67-61.
- Pocknett hit a jumper with 2:35 left to bring the Tornado to within 69-65, but Young Harris finished the game on a 16-11 scoring run, holding on for an 85-76 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Pocknett was one of two Tornado to score in double figures, with Akal adding 14 on the night.
- Turner had a team-high 10 rebounds nine of which came on the defensive glass, also handing out three assists and scoring nine points.
FOR THE FOES
- Carl Cleveland led all players, scoring 28 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Paul Hosey had a double-double, scoring 10 points and pulling 10 rebounds.
- Cleveland, Karl Chavis and Kobe Ashe all had two steals on the game.
UP NEXT
- The Tornado will play at Belmont Abbey College Wednesday night, with the game set for a 7 p.m. start.
- Young Harris will host Emmanuel College on Wednesday.
