BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team closed their regular season Tuesday afternoon, falling to the University of Mount Olive 4-1, with
Andre Schiabel picking up a singles win, while
Alex Sodre and
Mat Vieira teamed up for a win in doubles action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sodre and Vieira picked up their win at no. 2 doubles, winning a narrow 7-5 decision, but Mount Olive would win the other two doubles matches, claiming the point.
- In singles action, Schiabel played at no. 3 singles, winning 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 over Israel Rodriguez Rojas.
- At the top singles flight, Sodre fought hard, but ultimately fell 6-4, 6-4.
- Rhys Halcrow forced a first set tiebreak, but dropped his matchup 7-6 (7-0), 6-3 at no. 2 singles.
- The Trojans also picked up wins at no. 5 and no. 6 singles to take the 4-1 win.
