BRISTOL, Tenn. – Due to rain in the forecast, the Conference Carolinas baseball series between King University and No. 1 North Greenville University has been altered. The teams will now square off in a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 12:30 p.m. The series will conclude on Saturday with a single game at 2:30 p.m.
King is 9-11 overall and 2-9 in Conference Carolinas play this season. Most recently, King fell to Tusculum University on Tuesday 13-9.
North Greenville has been ranked atop the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) poll all season an is 21-2 overall with an 11-1 mark in Conference Carolinas play. Most recently, the Crusaders defeated Lander University 19-7 on Tuesday.
