Kristal Garcia making eight saves for the Tornado.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It took under a minute for the first shot, which came from the Bobcats just 44 seconds in, but the attempt sailed wide of the net.
- Ella Froehlich took the first shot on goal for the Tornado, getting a shot in the 19th minute that was stopped by the Lees-McRae keeper.
- The Bobcats struck late in the half, converting a penalty kick in the 43rd minute to push ahead 1-0.
- King withstood an early chance for the Bobcats, as Garcia made a save in the 54th minute, which was followed by another Bobcats shot that sailed wide.
- The Bobcats had a scoring chance of their own off a corner kick in the 77th minute, but Garcia was able to make the stop.
- Mackenzie Winters had a chance to tie the game off a corner kick in the 88th minute but her shot was saved by the goalie.

- The Tornado were held to just two shots on goal, courtesy of Winters and Froehlich.
- Garcia made eight saves during the game, five of which came in the first half.
FOR THE FOES
- Taylor Barrineau had the lone goal for Lees-McRae, taking a total of two shots on goal in 76 minutes played.
- Maddie Campo had a pair of saves in goal for the Bobcats.
