FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – After what ended up as nearly a one-week break, the King University men's soccer team was back in action Tuesday night, dropping a Conference Carolinas match to Emmanuel, 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It took just four minutes for Emmanuel to open the scoring, as they found the back of the net to take an early 1-0 lead.
- The Lions would take four shots over the next 15 minutes, two of which were on goal and subsequently turned away by Jack Hyatt.
- After Hyatt made back-to-back saves in the 28th minute, the Tornado conceded a corner kick, which they cleared to preserve the 1-0 score.
- Neither team was able to get any offense going in the remainder of the half, sending the match into the intermission sitting at 1-0.
- Emmanuel came out of the break and needed just four minutes to score, taking a 2-0 lead.
- The Lions continued to pressure the King defense, including late in the match when they had back-to-back shots, both of which Hyatt turned away.
- Emmanuel would score one final goal in the closing minutes to win 3-0.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Ben Dalglish and Ben Colborn both had shots on goal for King.
- Campbell Moore made his first career start, playing 44 minutes.
- Hyatt finished with nine saves, his second-most of the season.
FOR THE FOES
- Rafael Calderon had two goals for Emmanuel, while Lucas Pollacchi scored as well.
- Rodrigo De La Terga made two saves in net while posting a shutout.

- King is back on the field Saturday, when they return to Parks Field to host Barton at 4 p.m.
- Emmanuel will host Johnson Wales on Friday afternoon.
