TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University women's soccer team concluded their season on Sunday following a 3-0 defeat at North Greenville. After taking a 1-0 lead into the half, a pair of second-half goals helped the Crusaders to victory and propelled them into the next round of the Conference Carolinas tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- North Greenville came out of the gates strong, registering the first four shots of the match
- Mackenzie Winters laced a shot wide left in the 15th minute to put some pressure on the Crusader defense.
- The deadlock was broken after North Greenville's Faith Knoedler found the back of the net in the 21st minute.
- King struggled offensively for the remainder of the half as the Crusaders posted the final five shots of the half following the opening goal.
- The Tornado started the second half on the offensive as Presley Bacon fired the first shot of the second half, just missing wide right.
- North Greenville doubled their advantage in the 70th minute after Taylor Harvey found the back of the net.
- Meghan O'Ferral and Taylor Stubbs added back-to-back shots for the Tornado in an effort to climb back into the match.
- Jada Patrick added a third goal for the Crusaders, slotting home a feed from Harvey with less than two minutes remaining.
