BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team hosted the University of Mount Olive on Saturday morning. The Tornado fell to the Trojans 6-1 with
Ross Edgar picking up the lone victory for King.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In doubles play, the No. 1 duo of Alex Sodre and Andre Schiabel fell to Armando Ferreira and Guilherme Zotin de Oliveira 7-5.
- Mount Olive's Israel Rodriguez Rojas and Victor Nunez took the No. 2 doubles match after knocking off King's Nathan Snow and Edgar 6-3.
- Ferreira topped Sodre in the No. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-3.
- Schiabel fell in the second-tier match, losing to de Oliveira 6-0, 6-4.
- Edgar picked up King's lone point of the day with a three-set win over Rodriguez Rojas. The senior won 4-6, 6-4 (10-7).
- The Trojans then took the last three matches of the day to pick up the 6-1 victory and remain undefeated in league play.
UP NEXT
- King is in action again on Wednesday when they travel to Emmanuel College. That match starts at 1:00 p.m.
- Mount Olive concludes their season next Saturday when they too travel to Emmanuel.
