FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The King University men's soccer team dropped a Conference Carolinas matchup at Emmanuel College on Sunday afternoon. The Tornado couldn't find the back of the net, and the Lions tallied a goal in each half to take the game 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emmanuel went on the attack early as Tornado goalkeeper Dalton Gammon came up with the game's first save in the third minute.
- The Lions then took two more shots in the opening 10 minutes, but they both were off target.
- Samuel Corredor Rincon placed the first shot on goal for the Tornado in the 10th minute, but it was turned away.
- Emmanuel then turned the field, and eventually found the back of the net in the 23rd minute off the foot of Cian Walder to take a 1-0 lead.
- Diogo Ruivo tried to even the tally in the 45th minute, but his shot was turned away.
- The Tornado had a pair of chances early in the second half as Ben Delisle had his shot stopped in the 56th minute and Ben Lynch had his opportunity turned away in the 61st minute.
- Emmanuel then turned the field and extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Harrison Wright in the 67th minute.
- The Tornado couldn't find the back of the net in the final 20 minutes as Emmanuel took the game 2-0.
