BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's soccer team grabbed the lead early, but Belmont Abbey College scored three second-half goals to stun the Tornado. Two of the Crusader goals came in the final five minutes as King fell 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The play went back-and-forth in the opening 25 minutes as the Tornado took two shots that were off target, and Belmont Abbeys' four shots were off target as well.
- King broke through in the 29th minute on their first corner kick of the game.
- Meghan O'Ferral placed a ball in the middle of the box and Megan Brody deflected it into the goal to give King the 1-0 lead.
- The Tornado nearly extended that lead in the 41st minute, but Veronica Roach's shot went off the crossbar as King led 1-0 at the break.
- Belmont Abbey tallied the equalizer in the 57th minute on a corner kick.
- Mia Muckenthaler served the ball in the box and Sydney Hedrick punched it in, evening the score at 1-1.
- Roach had another chance in the 86th minute, but it was turned away by the Crusader goalkeeper.
- Belmont Abbey then turned the field as Goose Andrews got behind the Tornado defense and found the back of the net.
- The Crusaders then added another goal in the 90th minute to take the contest 3-1.

- The goal for Brody is her first of the season.
FOR THE FOES
- Belmont Abbey took nine shots, placing three on frame.
- The Crusaders also earned eight corner kicks.
