Presley Bacon scored her third goal of the season Wednesday afternoon for the Tornado, but they were unable to score the equalizer after Lees-McRae scored twice in the first 20 minutes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bobcats wasted no time in striking, as Gen Porsche scored in the fourth minute to take an early lead.
- The Tornado picked up their first shot in the 14th minute, but Hannah Hix was unable to get the ball on goal.
- Lees-McRae added their second and final goal in the 20th minute.
- After thwarting a Bobcats scoring chance off a corner kick, Bacon scored her third goal of the season in the 28th minute, taking a pass from Megan Brody and beating the Lees-McRae goalkeeper to bring King within a goal.
- King controlled the remainder of the half, getting seven shots, with Tyler Feaster getting a shot on goal in the closing seconds that was stopped by the Bobcats' keeper.
- The Bobcats took a series of shots in the 60th minute, but were unable to get the ball into the back of the net.
- King only recorded two shots in the second half, with the first coming in the 80th minute courtesy of Anya Gross before Veronica Roach took a shot in the 89th minute that went wide left,
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
- This was the third goal of the season for Bacon, and her second in the last three games. She is now the team leader in goals this season.
- Tyler Feaster recorded her first shot on goal of the season, playing in just her fifth match of the season.
FOR THE FOES
- Porsche and Pali Smith had the two goals for Lees-McRae, with Porsche also adding a pair of shots on goal.
- Mallory Roughton recorded a save for the Bobcats.
