MORGANTON, N.C. – The King University men's golf team closed the fall season by finishing ninth at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate. The Tornado shot 884 in the three-round tournament and were led by
Samuel Trueba who finished 14th.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- On Monday, Trueba posted rounds of two-under 68 and one-over 71. He closed with a round of 75 to finish with a stroke total of 214.
- Åasmund Norum started his tournament with a round of 76 before shooting three-under 67 in the second round. He finished with a total of 218 following a final round of 75.
- The 67 is Norum's lowest career round.
- Jose Luis Garcia Jimenez finished with a tournament total of 227. He started with a round of 72 before shooting 77 and 78 in the final two rounds, respectively.
- Peyton Perez started with a round of 78 and followed that with a round of 74 on Monday. He finished with a round of 77 on Tuesday for a tournament total of 229.
- Harvey Fitzpatrick finished the tournament with a total of 231. He opened with rounds of 76 and 79 on Monday before shooting 76 in the final round.
FOR THE FOES
- The University of Mount Olive won the tournament with a tournament total of 548 while Belmont Abbey College finished second at 850.
- Mount Olive's Brice Ballin was the individual medalist by three strokes, shooting five-under 205.
