KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – The King University men's golf team finished 12th at the Queens Invitational with a three-round total of 857.
Samuel Trueba led the way for the Tornado, shooting two-under 210.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trueba started with rounds of even-par 71 and two-under 69 on Monday before shooting one-under 70 in Tuesday's final round. He finished 22nd with a stroke total of 210.
- Åasmund Norum came in next for the Tornado, shooting 215. He improved each round, starting with a 73 in the first round and 72 in the second round.
- Norum closed with a round of one-under 70 on Tuesday.
- Peyton Perez posted two rounds of 74 on Monday before shooting two-under 69 on Tuesday to finish at 217.
- Alex Bradford shot 221, starting with rounds of one-over 72 and one-under 70 on Monday. Bradford closed with a round of 79.
- Rounding out the Tornado was Jeffery Perez who sot 230. He opened with a round of 83 before carding a 72 in the second round. He finished with a round of 75 on Tuesday.
FOR THE FOES
- Carson-Newman University won the event with a score of 827 while USC Aiken finished second at 828 and Lincoln Memorial University took third at 829.
- Harry Lord of Lincoln Memorial won the tournament with a score of 10-under 203.
