Tornado open road season at NC State

RALEIGH, N.C. – The King University cycling team opened the road season with a solid weekend at North Carolina State University.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Men's Category A

• Matthew Owen finished 21st in Saturday's road race while Jameson Simms finished 22nd.
• On Sunday, Owen finished 16th in the criterium.

Men's Category C

• Ben Lightfoot took 17th in Saturday's road race and ninth in Sunday's criterium.

Women's Category B

• Kate Dietrich finished sixth in Sunday's criterium.

Women's Category C

• Kiley Krasley finished 2nd in Saturday's road race while Jaiden Ward took 17th.
• On Sunday, Krasley finished 6th in the criterium and Ward took 17th.

UP NEXT

• King is in action again on March 21-22 at Virginia Tech.
