GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College saw Derek Nave and Grayson Elmore named to the 2010 NCCAA Men's Track & Field Scholar-Athlete team by the national organization.
Nave, a senior from Elizabethton, Tenn., was a NCCAA All-American in the discus after a toss of 136 feet and 11 inches. He added the NCCAA All-American honor in the hammer after he threw it 165 feet and an inch. He also had school record performances in both events during the outdoor season.
Elmore, a senior from Cleveland, Tenn., cleared 17 feet and 9.5 inches in the long jump this season.
King finished sixth in the 2010 NCCAA Men's Track & Field National Championship earlier in May.
