After joining head coach Jason Moorman's staff in 2013, Woody helped guide the Tornado to their first WCWA national championship and NWCA National Duals championships in 2014. Under her tutelage, four individuals won WCWA national championships, two were runners-up and 14 garnered All-American status.

Woody was a standout wrestler at Oklahoma City University where she was a four-time All-American. She was also a three-time WCWA national finalist while winning a WCWA championship in 2011. In 2011, Woody was a member of the Senior Pan Am Team, and a Senior National finalist while qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Trials. In her career at Oklahoma City, Woody compiled an overall record of 70-16.

Most recently, Woody was a graduate assistant coach at Missouri Baptist University. While there, she coached six All-Americans and one WCWA National Finalist. As a team, the Spartans placed seventh at WCWA Nationals last season. Woody helped recruit student-athletes to Missouri Baptist as well as plan practices and teach the student-athletes technique.

Woody graduated from Petree College of Arts & Sciences at Oklahoma City University. She earned her Master's in Business Administration from Missouri Baptist.
